May brings us closer to the culmination of the university application journey, with several final milestones approaching. Here’s what you need to keep in mind:

1. May 1st Decision Deadlines: For students who have received offers from universities in the United States and Canada, May 1st is a critical date. It’s the deadline for accepting offers of admission and submitting enrollment deposits. Be sure to carefully consider your options and submit your decisions by this date to secure your place at the institution of your choice.

2. European University Deadlines: Similarly, many universities in Europe have deadlines around May 1st for accepting offers of admission or completing enrollment procedures. If you’ve applied to European institutions, make sure to check the specific deadlines and fulfill any necessary requirements before the deadline passes.

3. May SAT: The May administration of the SAT is approaching. If you’re planning to take the SAT and haven’t registered yet, remember to do so before the next registration deadline. Additionally, if you were unable to register for the May SAT, keep in mind that the June administration is another opportunity to take the test.

4. IB, A Level, and AP Exams: May is a significant month for students enrolled in international curriculums such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), A levels, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. These exams typically take place throughout the month. Make sure to review your materials, practice past exam questions, and utilize available resources to prepare thoroughly.
